Erin Moniz
Rev. Dr. Erin Faith Moniz serves as the Assistant Chaplain for Berry College. As a chaplain to an undergraduate community, she is active in spiritual formation, mentoring, discipleship, and programming for young adults. She is passionate about gender theology, justice, healthy relationships, and ecumenism. She received her academic and ministerial training at Berry College (B.S.), Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv) and Trinity School for Ministry (DMin). Her doctoral thesis, “Created to Connect: Recapturing a Gospel Understanding of Intimacy for Emerging Adults in a College Setting,” is a foundational study for a renewed theology of intimacy. She preaches, guest lectures in college classes, and enjoys public speaking in a variety of settings. She has contributed content to a number of sites such as: AMEN (Anglican Multi-ethnic Network), Christianity Today, Anglican Compass, and CBE International’s Mutuality magazine. Erin is ordained as a Vocational Deacon in the Anglican Church of North America and is a trained Christian conciliator with Peace Maker Ministries.
Erin is co-host of CBE International’s Mutuality Matters podcast segment, “New Voices: The Latest Conversation on an Age-Old Struggle.”
