Karith Amel is a teacher, writer, and global nomad with a passion for the intersection of feminism, theology, and literature. She has an MSt in women’s studies from the University of Oxford and a BA in writing and literature from George Fox University. Some of her favorite writers include Julian of Norwich, Sigrid Undset, and Virginia Woolf. When not drinking coffee, going for runs, or grading papers, you can find her thinking about transition, mindfulness, and ordinary joys at her blog, In Search of Waking.
