Who We Are
We are an international organization working to educate, advocate, and liberate women and men from Christian patriarchy
CBE International, also known as Christians for Biblical Equality, is the world’s largest egalitarian organization. CBE has challenged biblical and patriarchal social barriers to women’s equality for over thirty years. Beside leaders in more than 100 denominations and 214 countries, we’re advancing global conversations on women’s shared voice and leadership in the home, church, and world.
Advocate
Scripture, when translated and read consistently, supports the authority and leadership of women and men worldwide. Our work exposes the abuse of Christian patriarchy in home, church and the world.
Educate
We equip ministry leaders and lay people with over 5,500 academic and popular resources in dozens of languages. These resources demonstrate that Scripture teaches God created women and men to lead and serve as equal partners.
Liberate
We’re convening the most extensive network of egalitarian leaders and projects worldwide, offering scholarships for women pursuing ministry and empowering local chapters worldwide.

Join the Cause
When you give to CBE, you’re joining us in the global transformation of homes, churches, denominations, and organizations from male-headship models of leadership to those that practice and teach the shared leadership of women and men.
