Women hold all kinds of leadership positions in society, but when it comes to the church and home, they are sometimes expected to follow male authority and leadership because of their gender. Some churches may allow women to lead but have a hard time articulating the scriptural basis for this, not knowing how to respond if challenged. Let’s not let history repeat itself by taking women out of leadership. Instead, let’s follow Scripture and the biblical examples of women leaders (Romans 16:1–7) and allow women today to lead in every sphere, including the church and home.

And, of course, you will have the opportunity to connect with scholars, speakers, and other attendees who are interested in the biblical equality of women and men in ministry, the home, and the world. This event is open to both women and men who wish to learn more about the biblical basis for women’s leadership. Students, pastors, scholars, students, and lay-people will be enriched by this conference and the speakers that will present.
CBE International is an international nonprofit that exists to promote the biblical message that God calls women and men of all cultures, races, and classes to share authority equally in service and leadership in the home, church, and world. CBE’s mission is to eliminate the power imbalance between men and women resulting from theological patriarchy.
