CBE has a long history of equipping scholars, organizational leaders, churches, and individuals with the resources needed to engage their communities and advance the Bible’s call for men and women to serve and lead together as equals.
Critical conversations continue as current challenges, new inquiries, and fresh applications present themselves within the egalitarian movement. Here’s an opportunity to lend your voice!

Competition Goals
The student paper competition seeks to advance egalitarian scholarship while offering undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to network and socialize with a diverse group of Christian leaders, scholars, and activists on the forefront of the egalitarian movement.
Competition Rewards
Through the competition, up to three students have the opportunity to read their paper at CBE’s 2020 conference in London, July 30–August 1, 2020. Additionally, all papers will be considered for publication in CBE’s award-winning journals. Authors of winning papers receive complimentary conference registration. CBE may cover accommodation and/or travel for winners if funding is available.
Students who are not selected may apply for a partial or full conference scholarship
