Mary Detweiler

Mary Detweiler became fascinated early in life by the idea that there are reasons why people do what they do and feel what they feel. This grew into a lifelong desire to understand what makes people tick and to help people live healthy, happy lives emotionally and relationally.

In the past she did this in her career as a psychotherapist and in her service as a recovery ministry leader. God eventually narrowed her passion to focus on women. He lit a fire in her heart to help his daughters be set free from belief systems and practices that reinforce the inequality of the sexes. She now lives out this passion by swimming upstream.

Mary and her husband live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They have two grown children.
