Janay Garrick resides in Woodland, California, where she writes from her grandmother’s pink antique secretary desk. The story of her firing from Moody Bible Institute and subsequent gender discrimination lawsuit was recently featured in the New York Times, “Sex and Gender on the Christian Campus.” She’s currently working on a debut collection of true stories exploring color (ROY-G-BIV), gender, power, and justice.
