Consider the way art, drama, readings, images, and music are chosen for services and events: Who chose/chooses them? Were/are under-represented groups asked for input in choosing?

Are there both male and female images and characters represented in liturgy/tradition/art in your church?

In those formats, how are the men portrayed? How are the women portrayed? What actions are they taking when depicted in stories or songs or pictures? Are they the helper? Rescuer? Protector? Servant? Leader? Are they strong? Weak? Dependent? Independent? Why?

Which biblical characters feature most prominently in your church’s art, drama, readings, images, and music? Are both men and women represented? Why or why not?

What roles do men play in various elements of liturgy/tradition? What roles do women play? Why?
