From CBE’s 2023 Conference “Women and Scripture: Setting the Record Straight” in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
There are many questions inherent to the role of women in the world of the New Testament, including: What role did women play during the ministry of Jesus? Were there women disciples? Why did Jesus call only men to his inner circle of disciples? This session will address these and other questions, bringing to light the details contained in the four Gospels, which will help us understand how Jesus related to women, as well as the implications for women in ministry.
