From CBE’s 2022 Conference “Exploring the Fullness of Galatians 3:28” in Atlanta Georgia.
Recognizing that pastors and other lay leaders need to be supported and equipped as they work to create a culture that promotes the flourishing of women as equals beside men, CBE commissioned the publication of Created to Thrive. An anthology that addresses both the dynamics of abuse and how to combat it, chapters present ways to affect a shift in culture, targeting the very roots of gender inequality that allow harmful behaviors to fester and effect long-term and holistic change. This workshop will interview contributors to the book, Created to Thrive: Cultivating Abuse-Free Faith Communities. Panelists will speak about their chapters, discuss why they are important to the church, and answer questions related to their areas of expertise.
