CBE International cultivates a biblical challenge to patriarchy by educating Christians on the Bible’s call for women and men to share authority equally in service and leadership in the home, church and world.
Here’s how you can get involved!
Arise is CBE’s official blog. It is a platform for writers and readers to exchange, critique, and evaluate ideas related to biblical gender equality and egalitarian theology. The mission of Arise is to convict, prepare, and then mobilize Christians to advocate for gender equality in the world.

We simply could not do what we do without volunteers! There are many volunteer opportunities, and some of them can be completed in your home.
CBE chapters gather Christian egalitarians in a mutually supportive community where they teach the basis for biblical gender equality. They encourage each other to use their spiritual gifts, develop their God-given leadership skills, deepen their practical experience with gender equality, and spread the message of biblical equality. This is accomplished in a variety of ways according to the diversity of each chapter.
