Elevating women’s equality in church and Christian NGO work.
Hosted with the Women’s Commission of the World Evangelical Alliance and the Anglican Diocese of Norwich
“Investing in…women’s empowerment can unlock human potential on a transformational scale.” –USAID
Humanitarian work flourishes when women’s equality is a priority. Yet women are not free to lead in many churches and Christian NGOs. This is why the conference will explore the theological and practical tools for advancing women’s shared leadership in faith-based NGO’s and non-profits, in churches and seminaries, and in our daily lives.
CBE’s conference verse is Ephesians 4:12:
“to equip God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”
You’ll hear from pastors, authors, professors, and social justice advocates on a variety of engaging, timely, and scholarly topics and issues.
You’ll meet and network online with renowned scholars, activists, non-profit leaders, pastors, and egalitarians like yourself from around the world.
You’ll be encouraged and equipped to better embody and share God’s vision for equal partnership between women and men in your own context.
