Ruth Correll

Ruth Correll received her doctor of education in Religious Education from New York University in 1987, and also holds two master’s degrees and a bachelor’s degree in the field of education. Currently, she serves as Assistant to the Rector at the historic Pohick Church in Lorton, Virginia, where she preaches, leads services, and does extensive work in pastoral care, spiritual direction, and teaching. She has many years of experience as a teacher on all levels. Before coming to Pohick Church, she served as chaplain for a nursing and hospice center. In her free time, she is coauthoring a book on formative spirituality with two colleagues from Epiphany Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
