Nadine Bowers Du Toit

Nadine Bowers Du Toit is an associate professor in theology and development at the Faculty of Theology, University of Stellenbosch. Her research focuses on the role of faith communities in addressing issues of social injustice and poverty, with a particular focus on local congregations and grassroots faith-based actors, and she is often invited to address churches and other faith-based organizations with regards to these issues. She serves on the board of three nonprofit organizations and is the current vice president of the International Academy of Practical Theology.
