Mitzi J. Smith

Mitzi J. Smith is associate professor of New Testament and early Christian studies at Ashland Theological Seminary–Detroit where she has taught for over ten years. She earned her PhD in religion from Harvard University and her MDiv from Howard University School of Divinity. Her latest book, I Found God in Me. A Womanist Bible Hermeneutics Reader, was awarded a 2015 book of the year by CHOICE Magazine.
