
Madeline Steele Johnston
Madeline Johnston, born and raised in Los Angeles, attended Culter Academy and Pacific Union College. She married Robert M. Johnston in 1956. They served in Korea 1958–69 and a year in the Philippines, he as a college theology professor, she mostly as a homemaker with some teaching and writing. Since 1973 he has taught in the seminary of Andrews University in Michigan, where Madeline spent twenty years as an administrative assistant in the Mission Department and earned an MA in developmental psychology. They have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
