Gerald W. Ford

Gerald Ford has been a part of the Houston Center for Christian Counseling since 1989 and has been a pastor since 1970. He now pastors the First Baptist Church of Beasley, Texas. His preparation includes a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts in psychology from Houston Baptist University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and an adjunct instructor of psychology at Wharton Junior College. His wife, Billie, is also an ordained minister and an independent historian. They teach communication and relationship workshops together and serve on the Board of Directors for “A Way In The Wilderness,” a ministry to the homeless and working poor of Galveston, Texas.
