
Gary G. Hoag
Gary G. Hoag has been encouraging Christian generosity since 1990 as a practitioner/minister and, more recently, as a counselor/professor. He currently provides consulting services through Generosity Monk (www.generositymonk.com) and is a visiting professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Northern Seminary. He was the vice president of advancement at Denver Seminary from 2002 to 2009 and served on the ATS Development and Institutional Advancement Program (DIAP) Steering Committee from 2005 to 2010. He has been doing ATS peer studies since 2004 to locate best practices for development leaders and, since 2010, Asbury Theological Seminary has retained him to do peer research for advancement. Hoag coauthored two books for ECFA Press: The Sower: Redefining the Ministry of Raising Kingdom Resources, and The Choice: The Christ-Centered Pursuit of Kingdom Outcomes, served as a content reviewer for the NIV Stewardship Study Bible, and completed his PhD in New Testament at Trinity College, Bristol, United Kingdom.
