Debbie Ardan Christian

Debbie Ardan Christian has worked in the fields of economic research, corporate philanthropy, nonprofit fundraising, and publishing. Her first husband, Van Ardan, was a sports agent who died in the 1999 plane crash with PGA golfer Payne Stewart. Debbie serves on the board of Tirzah International, a ministry that empowers marginalized women through microenterprise training and leadership development. The Bible study on Ruth was foundational material for Carolyn Custis James’ book, The Gospel of Ruth (Zondervan Academics, 2009), which Debbie heartily recommends along with all of Carolyn’s books. Debbie and her husband, Rick, live in Colorado Springs.
