
Abraham George
Abraham George serves as the director of international church mobilization with the International Justice Mission in Washington, DC. IJM is a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators, and aftercare professionals work with local officials to secure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators, and to ensure that public justice systems effectively protect the poor. In his position, Abraham oversees IJM’s work of mobilizing the global body of Christ toward a sustainable engagement in the cause of seeking justice.
Abraham worked as a pastor and seminarian in India for a number of years prior to relocating to Washington DC, where he worked with a public policy think tank and a theological forum, before joining IJM. He has a ThM in historical theology, and lives in the suburbs of Washington, DC with his wife and their two children.
