Join Mimi Haddad at the Denver Seminary for a complimentary lunch and a lecture on "Is an Omni-Male Deity the God of Scripture?" in the Executive Board Room, Anita Graber Building.  Throughout history, Christians have be swayed by philosophical currents that impute masculine gender as part of God’s being. More recently, evangelicals have argued for the “masculine feel” of Christianity—a current that informs and influences the mission of the church today. Join Mimi Haddad at Cornell Law School on Thursday, March 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Her topic, “Faith Based Perspectives on Advancing Women's Equality: From Oppression to Empowerment,” will consider the biblical, historical, philosophical and ethical components of a truly Christian worldview as it supports the equal dignity and destiny of men and women. The lecture will be held at Cornell Law School in Room 182.
