Combining rigorous scholarship with engaging prose, these articles on women in the Hebrew Bible, the Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical books, and the New Testament will inform, delight, and challenge all readers interested in the Bible.
Women in Pentecostal and Charismatic Ministry concerns women and Pentecostalism. It introduces the way the Pentecostal / charismatic movement has been shaped by and has shaped women from its beginning and offers a wide variety of responses to the opportunities and limitations women have experienced in their commitment to religious service.
The workshop offers participants an opportunity to discuss themes according to their interests relating to the details of the passage, its meaning, the culture of Paul’s time, and even Paul’s theology.
