This lecture will utilize Scripture to explore effective tools for bringing about positive change in the church, identify major obstacles to changing attitudes, and address ways to avoid burn-out on the long road to transformation and renewal
In this workshop, Jussi Suutari will discuss some verses (e.g. Eph. 5) that were important to him during over his own personal struggle with the Bible. The conflict grew out of hierarchical teachings he was hearing on some verses in Paul's letters, since through his own Bible reading he was seeing the overall egalitarian message of the Bible.
We want to create opportunities for those underrepresented in the academy, so that women and men serve equally, interdependently, each leading by God’s gifting. This workshop discusses some of the biblical principles important for ministry and presents examples.
