Abraham George serves as the director of international church mobilization with the International Justice Mission in Washington, DC. IJM is a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation, and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators, and aftercare professionals work with local officials to secure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators, and to ensure that public justice systems effectively protect the poor.

Adam has an MTh in Theology and Ethics from the University of Edinburgh and as an undergraduate at Bethel University in St. Paul, he also earned a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies with a Greek Minor. Adam is the Web Upgrade Editorial Associate for CBE, a chaplain intern at Fairview Southdale Hospital, and enjoys rock climbing, exploring the Twin Cities of Minnesota, travelling, and drinking coffee with his wife and friends.

Adele Hebert is an independent scholar who lives in northern Alberta, Canada. She has been writing articles and Bible studies and editing Christian books about Jesus’ love for women. She has helped with the God’s Word to Women Web site, Christians for Biblical Equality, and recently worked with Leonard Swidler on his latest book, Jesus Was a Feminist. Currently, she is writing a series of Bible studies on how Jesus gave women a voice.
