In their pursuit of sustainability and mission achievement, every community or organization develops its own approaches to utilizing and distributing power, dividing labor, and fostering cooperation. Often, these dynamics are shaped by implicit values and cultural norms, which may go unnoticed by community members. Therefore, it is crucial to explore how women and men in a community share the responsibility for managing power and resources. 

As the initial step on this journey towards nurturing women’s equality within Christian communities, this unit will guide you in closely examining your current organizational structure. By reflecting on women and men’s real experience in this structure, we will take a significant step towards developing a deeper understanding of the underlying perspectives regarding women and men in our faith comunities.
