“The Hugh C. Benner Preachers Conference gathers pastors, educators, and ministry leaders from across USA/Canada to explore the vital role of preaching in the life of God’s people. Our hope is that ministers walk away with more than just more skills. We pray that attendees will sense a fresh work of the Spirit in their lives and ministries as they experience times of worship, learning, and connection with others.
Plenary Sessions feature gifted preachers who seek to embody the task of preaching and provide insights into their preparation and sermon delivery. Time is also given for attendees to respond to the preached word through formational practices.
Preaching Labs give opportunities for collaborative learning with a diverse group of practitioners who serve as presenters and facilitators.
Connection Opportunities exist with an optional dinner on the grounds Tuesday evening as well as various gatherings for prospective seminary students and young clergy.”
