CBE suggests flying to Helsinki, Finland for all international travelers.

Here is a link to Helsinki's airport (in English). It's important to remember that the hotel has no shuttles or buses to or from the airport.

Due to upcoming changes in the mapping/organization of Helsinki's public rail system, CBE advises all conference attendees to plan on utilizing taxis.

Taxis can be found regularly outside of Terminal 1 and 2 of the airport. As of 21 March 2018, the typical cost for taxi service to the Hotel Cumulus is approximately 50 Euro (62 USD).

There is a minibus service that can accommodate larger groups and luggage amounts. Their website can be found here.

CBE International is not coordinating any group tours. That being said, Helsinki is a popular tourist destination. They have many opportunities for you to sightsee. Hop-on hop-off tour buses can be researched here. Be sure to check out Old Town's medieval architecture!

Nearby Tallinn, Estonia is another popular destination, as is St. Petersburg in Russia. More information can be found here.

(Note: Finland and Estonia are both Schengen countries and thus no visa is required for short trips. St. Petersburg in Russia will require a visa.)

CBE advises travelers to commute by high-speed train, as this minimizes wait times at customs. More info can be found here.
