Paula neither sought recognition nor did she receive it in her lifetime for her significant contributions to the Latin Vulgate Bible. Only recently has the profound respect and cooperation between her, Eustochium, and Jerome been acknowledged.

What are your thoughts about the fact that the Latin Vulgate Bible has always been attributed solely to Jerome? As Christians, does it matter who gets the credit? How does the way recognition is given aect later generations of Christians as well as the development of our Christian faith? [1]
