Christians for
Biblical Equality: Churches
|
|
|
|

|
|
CBE
offers services to church around the world!
|
|
Everyday, individuals visit CBE's
website seeking a church that is
supportive of the egalitarian view. CBE's
Egalitarian Church Directory depends on
recommendations for the names of churches that support
biblical equality, women in ministry, gift based ministry,
etc. Perhaps you attend or know of an egalitarian church in
your area. If so,
please
submit your church to be listed on our
Egalitarian Church Directory online so others may be
supported and encouraged. A pastor's signature is required. Churches do not need to be member churches to be listed
on CBE's web directory, but do need to
agree with CBE's
Statement of Faith.

How have various denominations embraced women in leadership?
|
|
CBE members belong to more than 80 denominations and live
in 37 countries, including the United States. Most denominations ordain women, but some denominations have had
greater success actually drawing women into leadership
positions. Learn more about some of the United States’ largest
denominations, their positions on women in leadership and the
percentage of their clergy that are female
in

Women in the Church.
With your pastor's permission (required), please

What would your church look like if every member had a vital
ministry?
|
|
From its inception, CBE has communicated
the biblical truth that men and women are equally responsible
to use their God-given gifts to further Christ's kingdom. We
interviewed church pastors from three very different churches
and found out how each embraced gender
equality, and what they learned along the way in
Crafting a Church Without Walls. (PDF)
