If you’ve ever been stranded by car trouble, or had to wait in the emergency room to see a doctor, then you know how slowly time passes when you’re in need!

Here are a few examples of the urgent requests we receive nearly every week:

A couple with a strained marriage discover CBE’s website. They order articles, books, and recordings, looking forward to a new, godly approach to their relationship. Then they wait and wait, sometimes for up to two weeks before their materials arrive.

A pastor calls from New York City. The elders in his church are meeting in two days to vote on whether to include women in their leadership team. He asks us to send 20 of our best articles and videos in 24 hours. He has no time to wait; he needs information for this crucial decision NOW!

A missionary from Asia is invited to present to her ministry an egalitarian perspective for women’s leadership. She needs our resources in less than one week, but she cannot afford to pay for expedited shipping. She asks us for assistance.

We long to provide more immediate service to our members and friends who need help. Over 600 people visit our website every day, and we have about 10 seconds to make a connection. If the site is unappealing or difficult to navigate, or if resources are not instantly available, we lose key opportunities to reach others for Christ!

Our web designer is ready to make the CBE website more attractive and easy-to-use, and CBE staff are eager to transfer hundreds of resources into digital formats so that people around the world can receive every article and recording online! This will make our life-changing materials immediately accessible to people, wherever they might live! These improvements will also avoid shipping, handling, and postage expenses, keeping costs low for those in need.

To make this happen, we need your prayers most of all. We also need a generous gift today toward the following items:

• $1,500 for a high-speed scanner
• $3,500 for website redesign
• $7,000 for staff time
