Christians for Biblical
Equality: Local chapters
CBE chapters gather Christian egalitarians in a
mutually supportive community where they teach
the basis for biblical equality, encouraging
them to use their spiritual gifts, develop their
God-given leadership skills, deepen their
practical experience with equality, and spread
the message of biblical equality. This is
accomplished in a variety of ways according to
the diversity of each chapter.
Chapters are the hands and feet of Christians for
Biblical Equality. Members work locally to
spread the message of biblical equality in their
community and churches. This is not an easy job;
it requires determination and hard work. Like
Anna, who came to the temple every day and
prayed asking to see the Messiah, we need that
kind of perseverance with our chapters. We need
to have hope and enthusiasm that someday, all
will understand the message of biblical
equality, that all are equal to serve using our
gifts for the kingdom of God.
