Dear Friends,
 Have you ever had the opportunity to observe
someone learn a new skill? Do you recall the look on a child’s
face as they learned to ride a bicycle? Remember how their eyes
focused intently forward, as they gripped the handle bars
firmly, pedaling as fast as they could, swerving right then to
the left. Yet, after a few weeks of practice a graceful balance,
poise and confidence replaced their earlier efforts. This joy we
experience watching someone learn is often what we feel in
working with CBE interns.
Students from all over the country come to
CBE ready to make a difference! They are focused, intelligent,
and filled with raw talent! Though we give them opportunities to
sharpen their skills and test their calling to ministry, the
truth is CBE is the greatest recipient of their time and talent!
Interns help us grow, and they show us how to reach other young
people! God uses interns to bring many new skills into the
ministry of CBE. Here is one example.
We have been praying for a business and
marketing intern for years! Just this week, a marketing intern
contacted CBE! We are so thrilled and excited, but we need your
help to bring this student into our doors.
Student interns depend upon a stipend to
cover their transportation and to help pay for their time at
CBE. While we offer $250 per 120 hours of work, very often this
is just too small to attract interns. Will you consider a

CBE to attract not only one gifted intern this year, but
