WHAT READERS ARE SAYING

Here are some of your responses to the poll in our previous issue of E-Quality which asked the question: Who is your favorite woman in the bible? What about her story impresses you?

"Ruth is my favorite. She is devoted, firm, determined, caring, selfless, humble and hardworking."

"I am especially impressed with Priscilla. During a time when gender divisions were even worse than today, Priscilla's intelligence and spiritual strength won the attention of her husband and Paul, letting her teach Apollo. She must have been a smart, strong and overall really neat woman to be recognized as someone with leadership capabilities even though she was female."

"Has to be Deborah, the warrior/poetess. She is Godly, fearless, noble and obviously liberated. May God give us all Deborah's courage and grace. (Wish we had a second choice - Vashti is right up there with the best of them!)."

Now it's your turn. Please take a moment to respond to our new poll question: Which historical Christian woman are you most inspired by? What about her intrigues you?
