A Call for Papers

The Gender and Evangelicals Study Group with the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) is calling for papers. Do you hold a PhD or ThM, or are you a student pursuing these degrees? If so, consider reading a paper at the 2013 ETS convention in Baltimore, Maryland, November 19-21, 2013.

Topics for paper proposals include:

—Egalitarianism and the authority of Scripture. Why egalitarian views respect the authority of Scripture.
—How patriarchy, shaped as biblical ideal, opposes God’s view of justice.

If you are interested in presenting a paper, submit your proposal on the ETS website at http://www.etsjets.org.
