Frequent Flyer Miles

Each year, a conference budget is developed. The budget includes projected costs for audio/visual equipment rentals, catering, and marketing, as well as travel and lodging for conference staff. Over the years, CBE has been involved in conferences and events all over the country and the world, but rising travel expenses are eating up our budget.

You can donate or transfer frequent flyer miles to CBE for our conferences and events through many of the major airlines, like Northwest, American Airlines, Frontier, and United. Frequent flyer miles belong exclusively to the earner (you), and cannot be transferred to another frequent flyer account under the rules of most programs. However, all programs allow you to redeem miles for awards in another person's name.

How to donate frequent flyer miles to CBE:

1. Step 1: Since each airline has different procedures, please contact your airline directly for more information about how to redeem miles in another person's name.
2. Step 2: Contact us to pledge the number of miles needed for an award ticket (usually 25,000 miles for a domestic round-trip flight).
3. Step 3: CBE will determine the name of the recipient and the preferred flight plan.
4. Step 4: Book the ticket in the recipient's name.

Silent Auction

The silent auction is usually conducted Friday evening of CBE conferences held within the United States. Material donations such as paintings, quilts, books, and professional services are sold at CBE's silent auction. The money generated from the silent auction helps CBE pay conference bills, such as transportation and lodging for conference staff, speaker honorariums, and recording equipment.

How to donate items to CBE's silent auction:

Print and complete the silent auction donation form (PDF). Then do one of the following:

1. Mail or fax a picture of the item(s) for donation with the completed form to Christians for Biblical Equality. Bring the item(s) with you to the conference.
2. Mail the item(s) for donation with the form to Christians for Biblical Equality.

Scholarship Fund

The CBE scholarship fund enables individuals to attend CBE conferences when they are unable to financially do so on their own. Scholarship recipients are awarded a partial or full scholarship based on degree of need for financial assistance. Scholarship applicants answer a series of questions to assist in establishing each applicant’s degree of need. Essay questions are also a part of the application process, to consider personal and vocational interests of the applicant as they relate to CBE’s mission.

How to donate to the CBE scholarship fund:

1. Online: Select desired donation amount from drop-down bar. When checking out, type “Scholarship Fund’ in the “Special Instructions” box.
2. Mail: Send a check donation to Christians for Biblical Equality. Write “Scholarship Fund” in the memo line.
3. Phone: Call 612-872-6898 to donate to the scholarship fund.
